The Eastern Spices Restaurant in Edinburgh attained the award and held a celebratory meal at George Heriot’s Rugby Club on 28th October 2012. Mr Assador Ali, the restaurant owner was very keen to donate the proceeds of the evening to CRP.
Bryan and Margaret Whitty were invited to attend the event and had the opportunity to speak a little about the work of CRP and VTT and also to show the Kershaw film.
The children took buckets around the tables and raised £755 for CRP!
We are very grateful to the Restaurant community in Edinburgh especially Dr.Wali Uddin, Mr.Fakhrul Islam and Mr. Assador Ali for all there continuing interest and support for CRP through VTT.
