Bryan and Margaret Whitty were invited to a Celebratory Lunch organised by the Centre for Development of Glasgow Caledonian University to acknowledge the appointment of Professor. Mohammed Yunus, Nobel Laureate and founder of the remarkably successful Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, as Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University.
Prof Yunus has a great admiration for the work of CRP and of Valerie Taylor in particular.
We hope to maintain strong links with Caledonian University.The University have been instrumental in setting up a branch of Grameen Bank in the Sighthill area of Glasgow.
