Governance

The Valerie Taylor Trust was formed in the autumn of 2007 and registration with the Charity Commission was completed in January 2008.

The Trust is governed by a constitution adopted on 5 September 2007 as amended on 16 December 2007.

The Trust is managed and administered by a Management Committee whose members are the Trustees of the charity. Trustees are elected by the members of the charity for three year periods and are eligible for re-election thereafter. No member of the Management Committee may be paid or receive any other benefits for being a member of the Committee. The Management Committee may co-opt up to three Trustees from the VTT membership for one year periods.
